We build the system that runs the business, not the interface that displays it.

Vision​

BayanCore is building the foundational operating system for Saudi businesses — not another dashboard. Every workflow, approval, document, and compliance rule runs through a single, intelligent, auditable system. Built in-Kingdom, for Vision 2030.

The Five Layers​

1. Modern Experience Layer​

  • Liquid, glassmorphic, premium UI. Arabic-first, RTL-native
  • Feels like Apple, not SAP. Speed over features
  • Mobile in 3 taps, Hijri/Gregorian dual dates

2. Execution Layer​

  • Workflows, approvals, tasks, documents as first-class objects
  • Structured data from day one — no spreadsheets as source
  • Role-based actions with full audit trail

3. Intelligence Layer​

  • Assistant-style AI for every employee, not just chat
  • RAG over company data with strict permissions
  • Ask, Act, Automate — hosted in OCI Riyadh

4. Compliance Layer​

  • ZATCA Phase 2, VAT, WHT built-in by default
  • PDPL-compliant, full audit trail for every action
  • Saudi data never leaves the Kingdom

5. Infrastructure Layer​

  • 100% hosted on OCI Riyadh & Jeddah regions
  • Scalable, reliable, multi-AZ architecture
  • ERPNext as the kernel, BayanCore layers on top

Operating Principles​

  1. Saudi First. We optimize for ZATCA, PDPL, and Arabic workflows before global parity.
  2. System Over Surface. We build the engine, not just the dashboard.
  3. Compliance is Product. Not a checkbox — it's our moat.
  4. Clarity Over Configurability. Opinionated defaults beat endless settings.
  5. Ship to Learn. Weekly releases to real Saudi businesses.

Phase 1 Non-Goals​

We explicitly will NOT build:

  • ❌ A full GL accounting or payroll engine (we extend ERPNext)
  • ❌ On-premise or non-OCI hosting
  • ❌ A public API marketplace
  • ❌ Non-Saudi compliance (EU, US)
  • ❌ Custom UI per client
  • ❌ AI that posts financial transactions without human approval

Decision Test​

Before we commit to any feature, ask:

  1. Does it reduce manual work for a Saudi finance/ops team?
  2. Does it strengthen compliance or auditability?
  3. Can we ship it in 2 weeks, or is it a clear platform bet?

If "No" to 1 & 2, or it's a platform bet without data — we don't build it.
